  • 1 lb halal chicken breast diced
  • 1/2 lb halal spicy sausage sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, and add diced chicken and sliced sausage, cooking until the chicken is no longer pink and the sausage is lightly browned.
  2. Add uncooked rotini pasta, chicken broth, and heavy cream to the skillet; stir and bring to a simmer.
  3. Cook the pasta in the liquid until al dente, stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce heat to low, stir in shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese, followed by garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, mixing until creamy.
