Ingredients
  

  • 4 ears fresh corn
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • q.s. Salt and pepper to taste
  • q.s. Chopped cilantro optional
  • q.s. Grated Parmesan optional
  • q.s. Lime juice optional

Equipment

  • Grill (charcoal, gas, or electric)
  • Aluminum foil
  • Basting brush
  • Tongs
  • Toothbrush (optional, for cleaning)

Method
 

  1. Shuck the corn and remove all silks. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the butter mixture generously over each ear of corn. Optionally sprinkle grated Parmesan or chopped herbs on top.
  4. Tear off four large sheets of aluminum foil; place one ear of corn on each sheet and wrap tightly.
  5. Heat the grill to medium-high heat and place the foil-wrapped corn on the grates.
  6. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, while keeping the grill lid closed.
  7. Let the corn rest for 2-3 minutes after grilling before unwrapping.
  8. Enjoy your grilled corn!
