Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound deli-sliced Black Forest ham
  • 6 large croissants
  • 6 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional) for crunch
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted, for that golden shine
  • 1/4 cup honey mustard
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon buffalo sauce like Frank's RedHot

  • Small Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk or Fork

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, mix honey mustard, barbecue sauce, and buffalo sauce until well combined.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Slice croissants open lengthwise, keeping one edge connected.
  4. Spread the spicy buffalo honey mustard sauce inside each croissant.
  5. Layer slices of Black Forest ham and pepper jack cheese inside the croissants.
  6. Place assembled croissants on a baking sheet coated with non-stick oil spray.
  7. Brush the tops of croissants with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy or sesame seeds if using.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes, until cheese is melted and croissants are golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven, let cool for a minute or two, then serve warm.
