- Pat the brisket dry with paper towels and rub both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Let sit for 15 minutes.
- (Optional) In a hot skillet, sear the brisket for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Place the brisket in the slow cooker, add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, and spread half the BBQ sauce over the top. Cover and set the slow cooker to low.
- Cook the brisket on low for 8-10 hours or high for 6-8 hours, basting halfway through.
